Gosh, you know, I have no idea. I've seen her toting that pack a million times and don't think I've ever noticed. I'll have to pay closer attention next time I'm watching. Love that show...

Out of curiosity, I just Googled it and there are a number of threads of people asking about that pack. One insists it's a Brahmin, which I suppose it could be, but from recollection, it doesn't look like Brahmin to me.

It's a SOCO Paris bag. Someone on a forum mentioned getting a smaller version on ebay.

See the pattern on the leather? That's the pattern SOCO Paris uses.

Here's a purse that looks like it came form the same collection as Elaines bag:

Ebay has a few SOCO Paris bags, but nothing like the backpack is listed right now.

I bought the satchel last year in Palomino. I'd say it is a yellow gold. Funny thing was my husband (not knowing the name of the color) called my bag ""Trigger"" the first time he saw it.

I ordered the last TSV in the Palomino color and I didn't like it at all. It was an orangy/yellow with a yellow zipper!! Maybe I am the only one that got on in that color but mine was not ""gold"" at all...it had orange hint to it. Plus with the brighter yellow zipper I just knew I would not keep it. I sent it back and got the blue bag and I love it.

Thanks to all for comparisions... I was also curious about the shopper

in Sunset described as European Gold. I almost ordered and a Sage became available ... but I am curious about where this color falls in the gold /yellow Dooney spectrum

TIA

Sunset is very close to Palomino, but Sunset has a tad bit more orange in it whereas Palomino has more yellow in it. Both are great colors. I have the previous TSV in Palomino and it goes with everything as a chic neutral. Palomino is better in person. You are lucky to get the Calf Leather Convertible Shopper in Sage!

Thanks EdithEllenLily

I think I would like both Palomino and Sunset- maybe the Palomino a bit more. I love that golden yellow color as a neutral. I was going to change the Sage back to Sunset- but my order is In process and won't let me change the color . I may go see what else the palomino comes in.

I think you'll probably be happy with the sage. It went really fast and is now not listed, while the sunset option is still there. Think of it this way, if the sage doesn't meet your expectations, you can always exchange it for the other choice. Personally, I think I'd prefer palomino to sunset, but that's just me...
