@Dazlin Have you tried Earth sandals? I have a pair and also a pair of ankle boots. The support in both is great, but in your case looking for sandals I think you should try them. They are well cushioned and have a nice support to them. I have a high arch and they accomodate that nicely. Also they have velcro straps to adjust the fit. They had a show this morning and had one sandal priced down to $ 50. Well worth it IMO. Good luck.

I have an extremely high instep and need support for comfort, but not an orthopedic footbed. I tried several pairs of Vionics and most were actually painful. Clark’s cloud steppers work well for me for prolonged walking like sightseeing. I also wear Spencos and love my slides for running errands and casual wear. I would not wear them sightseeing, but they are excellent for most everything else I do. I like the slides better than the toe post style and have no trouble keeping them on.
