I have very painful feet and need shoes that will ease this discomfort.  I've tried vionic, sketchers, acis, white mountain, etc.  The tops of my feet hurt as well as the sides, ankles and bunion area (small bunions).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I work full time and would really like a casual "dressy" shoe opposed to a sneaker but will consider all.  Thanks - Sandy

May not be a shoe problem. Perhaps you should see a doctor.

I highly recommend you see a podiatrist.

I have one wonky, deformed foot, looks normal to the naked eye but I struggled with shoes for decades until I saw a doctor.

No surgery, just treatment & therapy for a short period of time,   Not "cured" but much better.

I believe the OP is merely asking for suggestions for very comfortable shoes.  I got the impression that the OP understands her foot issues and I agree that if she hasn't already, to see a foot specialist.

All I can recommend is that you keep trying to find that shoe that works for you.  I would also buy the shoes where you can walk into the store, try them on right there and get professional help while you're shopping.  Good luck....

I understand SAS makes very comfortable leather shoes..

@Three meezersIf you haven't already worked with a podiatrist, that's what I'd do first.  In addition to the doctor's work to relieve your pain, I'd also ask for recommendations to a local shoe fitter.

I've had problem feet for about 30 years now -  and was not at all surprised to be told by one of my favorite fitters that over 30% of all shoes ordered online/TV get returned.  I hate having to pay what I do for shoes, but I hate the foot and back pain from poor-fitting shoes even worse!

One thing I've noticed over the years has been that even when my local fitter carries the same brands offered by Zappos, QVC, etc., the shoes they carry from those companies aren't the same item numbers.  And because I can try them on in the store, returns have not been an issue.

Re: Painful feet

[ Edited ]

@Three meezersFind a good shoe store (perhaps one specializing in ortho or diabetic patients) that carries FINN Shoes. Try some styles on and find what suits you best. I'm sure you'll fall in love with them. But wait! Don't buy them there. Way too expensive. Go on-line to shoes dot com to purchase the shoes at a discount (usually 40%). Confident you'll be back for more and more styles! Leather interiors are smooth and gentle on the feet, nice-size toe box, great support, soft and supple leathers . . . and they last forever! Hope you find a pair you want to purchase. You won't be sorry. Cheers to feeling better!

Oh, returns are a piece of cake! I've only had to return once but their policy was simple and refund was quick.

Forget about the shoes for now, you need to see a doctor.

Good morning. I know you said you tried Sketcher but there are different kinds. I wear the go walk style. They look like they have little pillows on the bottom. They fell like walking on clouds. Also if my feet were in pain like yours I wouldn't care what my shoes looked like. I hope you find what you need.
