What do you recommend?

Hard bottoms, support the foot, just for in house not outside.

LL Bean Wicked Good slippers. Pricey but they hold up. I keep a pair for several years. I wear them all year except for during the summer, when I hust wear an old pair of flip-flops. The slippers I like are the clog style with hard sole.

I wear a pair of LandEnd Gatas slipons.  Good traction and support.

Acorn Spa Wrap slipppers -- been wearing them for years. They're super comfortable, adjustable fit, and a durable sole. They come in a variety of spa-ish colors:

@court0901Yes, Vionic but I use a slide sandal, not an actual slipper.  Works really well for me here in Florida where my lanai is a big addition to my indoor space and I'm in and out frequently.  I always like the hard sole and Vionic support.

I invested in a pair of UGG slippers (I use the word "invested" because the brand is not exactly inexpensive).  They offer support and comfort, and have lasted for quite a few years.

Vionic mule style in the cold months and Vionic flip flop style sandal in warm weather.  Love the support and comfort.
