nantucket shore:
Good thinking. Hopefully GILI 3 will be of a good grade of leather.

I am sad I had to return my Gili bag. Lisa is so sweet to address the problem.

Wow, I missed that and good for her. They might do well to mention it whenever the bag is presented, at least for the time being, since there are lots of folks still thinking the handle problem hasn't been addressed and corrected.

I think they should recall all the defective bags that they've already sold. Are they still selling any of these bags that haven't been corrected? Was the rest of that inventory removed? I wonder if she addressed these issues?

Sweet?? She had better address it--I'd think damage control would be in order. I think it's just good business for her to address it

Obviously, I have no idea. I imagine she addressed only what QVC permitted her to address. At the end of the day they call the shots.

She did respond on her Facebook page. Per Customer Service, one of the manufacturers had the issue and they are no longer using them. That being said, how many are still out there ready to be sold? I had to send mine back and I hated it. Hands down my favorite bag. I LOVED it.
