Like probably thousands of others, I tried the cottage cheese, nutritional yeast and fajita seasoning dip that is all the rage on tiktok.

I followed the recipe - it takes forever to get it blended to the right consistency (and I have a really good Ninja blender) and it was such a disappointment.

It's supposed to be a a more nutritional dupe for queso.

I don't think so Smiley Sad

Has anyone else tried it????

I haven't tried it and I won't. It sounds horrible.

I've never heard of it but then I don't do TikTok.  However, those clips make it over to Facebook a lot of times.

It sounds like something I would like but not necessarily love.  I'd definitely try it.

I've never heard of it, but maybe try draining the cottage cheese, using a taco flavoring or another spice combo that might be more to your taste, and adding a little lime or lemon juice.

Or even use half a queso you like and work up to using less over time!

I may have to try this!  Good luck for making it work for you!  It's always nice to head toward something healthier!

I haven't heard of it, but I'd give it a try

Not to change the subject but...

I don't do TikTok either, but there's a feed that somehow got onto my Facebook video feed of a woman dipping chicken sausage and all kinds of veggies in cottage cheese with a healthy squeeze of yellow mustard.  She eats pretty much the same thing all the time with just a couple minor variety changes.  Still, there's always the cottage cheese and mustard. I don't like mustard so I have no intention of trying it.  But is this a thing now?

I don’t measure it. I season with my heart.

I normally have good feedback with TikTok recipes having gone viral but this one was awful. I also tried that grinder salad on top of deli meat sandwich & it really had thousands of good reviews. It was like drenched soggy lettuce that I couldn't bring my self to eat.. 🤦🏻‍♀️
