Re: What Are You Cooking For The Holidays????

Due to the pandemic, I don't think there will be huge gatherings, people may have holiday meals with just their immediate families. I would think supermarkets may suffer, one cooks differently for their families than when they have company.

@Jordan2   At Thanksgiving I cook the same things whether it's just the two of us or twenty. Family or company makes no difference.

Right now we've been joking Hungry Man Turkey TV dinner.

Not feeling eating now -- although Thanksgiving is my favorite meal of the year!

I make delicious candied sweet potatoes -- usually only make them at Thanksgiving but this year we had "Thanksgiving" in July because I had 10 lb turkey in freezer & needed room.😊😊🦃🦃

@LilBitMissty  Your potatoes sound fabulous.

Easy Corn Pudding

2 eggs

1 cup (8 oz) sour cream

2/3 cup butter melted

1 box jiffy corn mix 8.5 oz or a similar brand

1 can 14.5 oz cream corn

1 15.25 oz can whole kernel corn

Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray or use butter. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour into prepared pan and bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes

Would not be a holiday without this on the table. 😋

This is a side dish that is a staple at Thanksgiving for us as well. I make this all of the time.
