Happy Friday!  There is frost on the rooftops this morning...or frost on pumpkins.  I never did get out to buy pumpkins or mums this year.  Busy and time flying too fast. One more week until Halloween ....🤡👻😈.

Speaking of Halloween, Tootie, what will BG and LS be this year?  I laughed about DH and "one more lawn cut"...same here...I don't think DH is done.

kittyfan, I agree....Fall break?  Too many days off in schools these days.  Sorry about Covid in family...it still lurks out there...😟.

Better go.....running behind....on with breakfast and laundry.....have a nice day....til later....😃😊😁🤩..

Good morning friends ... chilly, chilly here this morning ... 36 degrees! ... we should go up to 52 today!!

walker, BG loves rockets and is going to be an astronaut for Halloween and LS is going to be a witch!! 

I noticed in a store the other day ... Christmas decorations!! 😲 I'm way behind with shopping ... I have two gifts and still have to get BG's birthday gifts ... I better get shopping 😄

BG and LS will be cute on Halloween, Tootie..as always! 😉 My oldest was into rockets too.  I watched many "launches" ....10, 9, 8....etc....which reminds me that anytime I had to take grandkids anywhere I would do a countdown as we back up to leave.....10, 9, 8....at end they would yell BLAST OFF!  Ha!  My Three Amigos still remember it. 

I have seen Christmas decorations out too.  I always feel bad that Thanksgiving is lost...such a special holiday to me.

All for now....no plans today....but, need to bake cookies...crisis in freezer....no cookies.  Grandma always has cookies!  When I leave this earth, I need to leave cookies  behind...😊🍪.

We finally got much needed rain. Woke up to thunder boomers.  Lots of wind damage and trees uprooted. .  we are still very much in drought

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, yikes! a heavy rain and wind storm!! going from one extreme to another ... but still not enough to get out of your drought! ... how are the pups doing?

walker, did you get your freezer crisis taken care of?? 😄is it stocked full of cookies now?? ... cute story about your "countdown in the driveway" ... I can hear the "BLAST OFF" now ... 😄😂

They had an October Fest up at our park yesterday ... DS asked if we wanted to go ... so we met up with them for Trick or Treating! ... police and firemen (and trucks), some animal groups, military groups, etc. were all giving out candy for the kids ... food trucks and vendors selling Fall items ... it was cute to see all the different costumes on the kids!! ... and then! it started to rain, lightly at first and then the heaven opened up!! ... I've never seen vendors close up shop so fast!! luckily we were able to take cover under one of those empty tents and wait it out!! ... we waited for a break, headed out and went to dinner! 

We'll have a cool 52 degree day with no rain 🤞... today is the day for the "final cutting" of the grass 😄😂 ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Sunday!  Looks like a nice 60 degree day here...might be last lawn cutting here too.  Finally time for me to clear out my flowers as well.

Tootie, what a fun day you had at the October Fest there ...with exception of rain.  At least you found shelter to wait it out.  Good too that BG and LS can get more wear out of their costumes.....and more candy...ha!

Crisis averted here...restocked freezer with cookies.  Found out I was down to 1 1/2 cookies....not sure where other half went.  I take a few out at a time for DH.  I try to avoid them.  Once they start to dry out, they aren't as good...in my opinion.  I usually sample one after baking to make sure they are good...😉...quality test...😆.  

kittyfan, glad you made it through your storm ok.  Are the pups frightened by storms?  Ours always were...one ran for bathtub during a storm.  SHUT THE DOORS! 😂

No news....on with the day....hope you have a nice one.

No news on my world. I woke up very early. Decided to do laundry. Brewed a cup of tea. I think it was sleepy time and I ended up taking a nap.  But the eternal laundry was done for the day.  Hoppedvon to attend church online.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, ugh! you've been waking up so early but I bet you don't have much of a problem getting one of the machines to do your laundry ☺️ ...

walker, I agree about when the cookies dry out and not being so good ... I guess the solution would be to eat them when they come out of the oven ... warm!! ... 😉😄 yum!!

Yesterday was the last cutting 😂 ... the lawnmower is now tucked away, the oil in the snowblower was changed and the shed was reorganized and is now ready for the grill!! ... so, today will be the "grill rolling" ... watch for me on the news 😄😂 (I know one of my neighbors is going to video us 😄) 

Chilly here this morning ... 30 degrees and will be a sunny 50 degree day ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Monday!  Last week of October.  Another month flies by..whooosh!  And...the dreaded time change is next weekend....Fall...BACK...🕰️⬅️.  Now our sleep patterns will be messed up again...🥴.

Grill Rolling Day for Tootie!  😂 With Mimosas👍!  HA!  But, you'll need more after...LOL!  I'll check news reports.  This would definitely make a segment on America's Funniest Home Videos!  Wishing you smooth rolling, Tootie. 

kittyfan, these sleep issues are so frustrating.  On good side, there is no waiting to use laundry machines! 

Yesterday I cleared all flowers off deck...so bare now...still have others in yard to do today.....or leave for DH...😉.

We rolled ... 😄 and everything is now tucked away in the shed! ... not sure if we were filmed or not! but it was a very smooth rolling ... 😄😂 and the mimosas were pretty smooth too!! 😉
