It used to be gingerbread cookies...love anything gingerbread during the holidays.

I have to be gluten free, so most cookies are out for me.

My family's favorite cookie are a yeast dough cookie filled with walnuts (kiffles) a soft sugar cookie made with sour cream, and a cream cheese dough cookie filled with Solo fruit filling.

I make about a dozen different kinds of Christmas cookies, and they naturally prefer the ones that are time consuming to make.

I'm getting ready to make Mistletoe Bars this week. But this time of year I like rugelach cookies and spritz cookies. I like peppermint, so any cookie like that has my vote!
