Hi there....Hope it has been a good day for all of you.  I have been moving at a snail's pace...ha!  I did get laundry done and batch of cookies baked.  Also, took my walk but had to put a winter jacket on...😟..very cool!  From hot to cold in matter of few days.  

Quack....sorry to hear about needing a crown. Not how you want to be a Queen, eh? I sure understand!   I have so many I should insure my mouth.  That's the real pain...the cost! 

Chick-Fil-A salad sounds yummy!  Nice of hubs.

If you don't mind my asking, feel free to not answer, we each know where we live....just general area and wondering what part of USA you might be in.  I live in the Chicago,IL area, Tootie, Buffalo,NY area and kittyfan is in TX....outside Austin or Dallas (?) area. We pay attention to weather and things happening..that's all.  One of our long-time friends, cookie, also lived in the Dallas area.  She left us several months ago...not sure why and hope she is ok.  We do miss her.  We have also had friends from Michigan, Colorado, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.....all dropped off but fun to know.  We've been here awhile...ha!  Again, you don't have to share.  Join us whenever you want.

Good evening

Oh yes the crown!!!  A few years ago had a tooth crack.  Part of it below gum line. Saw the X-rays. Black hole!  Off to periodontist.  Had surgery, lots of stitches, had a post, then a crown. $$$$.  

I actually live in Austin now.  My house down the road.  Cookie lives a bit away but in the area.  

Brother had a Drs appointment.  He sounded better but still dragging.  Took me to do my labs, stopped at PO, picked u.food, took me home.  He did have soup, I had Gatorade in fridge. He printed some things off the computer. Went through the mail,   I ut important things aside for his review. He knows all!  When we were waiting at the lab he told me about his aunt. She lived in Iowa. Sons godmother.  He had been trying to get her to move here or at least to assisted living. Well her sister who is 84 took her with her.  His aunt passed away and he found out by accident. He had a 'feeling' and found her obituary.  Called the sister. She didn't contact him as she wasn't sure of his phone number etc.  big issue with her estate. Apparently she had a second husband he didn't know anything about.  Quite a sad situation.  Brother said his son is upset.  I told brother we have taken steps to insure that won't happen with me.  He knows everything.  He is at every doctors appointment.  He takes copious notes.  Going to my house early tomorrow before it gets roo hot.

walker, good luck with your dental appointment ... I have mine next week! 😒 ... this weather is really strange ... hot and then cold ... and really cold for this time of year! ... I can see why you had to wear your winter coat ...

quack, ugh! the dreaded crown ... I have some too ... hope you enjoyed your salad ... we have a Chick-Fil-A about 45 minutes from me but have never been there ... I hear it's very good!

Well, the sun is shining but we'll have a cool(er) 60 degree day ... that's ok though, the sun makes everything better 😎 ... and we did end up getting a frost ... plants were tucked away in the shed for the night!!

Happy Tuesday!  Enjoy your sunshine....not here....windy and rainy.  We do need the rain but I have been putting my flowers under cover too, Tootie.  There is too much wind and heavy rain.  I don't want to ruin them at beginning of season.

kittyfan, sad story about DB learning the aunt had passed away.  Back to your old house-new house...we'll be anxious to hear how that goes for you.

Off to dentist this morning whether I want to or not..😬.  I hope I don't hear any "you need a crown here...repair there,etc."....just check, clean and send me on my way.

I will be meeting two friends for lunch after so at least that will be enjoyable.

Boy I had to go around the city to get here!   

I talked with brother this morning.  Was going to my house.  I checked the cameras but didn't see anyone. A bit ago I heard my name and brother appeared at the patio. Had his weed eater to take care of the yard. We have a service but they don't do a good job.  He said they were waving to me but I didn't see them.  He was too dusty to come in. Took his toys and headed home to shower. He did sound better but still not totally normal.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I had issues trying to get on her yesterday afternoon and finally gave up! ... laughed at DB not happy with the job that the lawn service does for SO ... 😂... men and their lawns!! ...

walker, we've had such windy weather that our hanging pots are now sitting on the patio away from it and our yard is covered with those "whirly birds/helicopters" seedlings from the trees in back ... hope you got a good report from the dentist and had a good lunch with friends.

No LS today ... hmmm, 🤔 what's a girl to do??! ... although I have no plans, I'm sure I'll find something to do 😄 or I can take kittyfan's advice ...  "UB's for all" 😂 ... we're in for a rainy and cool 58 degree day ...

Happy Wednesday!  Another damp and dreary day here...sun ☀️will return eventually.  

Bad enough we have our own gremlin problems but this whole website is giving us all a headache!  I was just about to check our other connection and send message out today.  Tried one more time here and bingo...worked.  Guess I better not babble and send this while I can.

Well, dental visit was ok BUT, after hygenist, dentist checks and says "that wisdom tooth needs to come out" 😫!  I said..."it is not bothering me."  He said..."it will and will cause problems for your other teeth". 😩 He said infection could set in, etc, etc.  I know we have discussed it before but I kick the can down the road.  Guess I shouldn't be a baby and just get it done!  I had to laugh ...when I left, the receptionist asked if she should call and remind me to make the appointment.  Lunch after took away my tooth upset....3 hours of fun with friends!  I had some delicious Chicken Tortilla Soup with Bacon Cheddar Biscuits...YUM!  Usually I have a salad but soup hit spot on rainy day. 

kittyfan..that is funny about your DB doing the extra lawn work at house because it hadn't been done right.  Tootie said it all....men and their lawns! 🤣

Speaking of lawns...our backyard is also covered with those helicopters that fall from the Maple trees, Tootie. 
Fun watching them come down.  DH not amused...haha.

Good Evening

Oh no s wisdom tooth.  I had mine out but years ago.  Always something!

I woke u at 4. Decided to take trash out.  Went back to bed but was watching a beautiful sunrise when brother calls at 6:30. He had been up for hours. Sounded better. Had a busy day planned. He called about 4 was heading home after a full day.  But not to rest but get ready for a meeting.   He will head home tomorrow.  Or at least that is the plan.  

I was setting pharmacy delivery.  Specialty pharmacy. $$$ so I have to schedule and I always know. When she gave me the date I said what happened to May!  Then I realized Memorial Day is Monday.  I know I watch the Memorial Day concertt with my box of tissues handy.  

Tootie:  I know you are missing your little!  They grow u so fast.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, you were up early! but glad you got to enjoy a pretty sunrise ... we haven't seen the sun in a couple days now and today is no different ... more gloom and rain 😒 ... you're right! where did May go??! time is flying by!! ... glad that DB is starting to feel better.

walker, your lunch sounds delicious!! a perfect meal for a dreary day ... ugh!! sorry you got some "undecided" news at the dentist ... I don't know what I would do ... maybe kick the can a little longer 🤔😄... like kittyfan, I had mine out years ago.

I've been thinking about our cookie a lot lately ... I miss her! and I even wrote her name a couple of times while typing ... maybe that's a sign that she will be coming back ... wouldn't that be a nice surprise!!? 🤞🏻💜 ... I still had to scroll and scroll and scroll this morning to get here ... oh well, at least I can still post!! 😃

Happy Thursday!  Not much sunshine here today either, Tootie, but at least rain has passed ....over to you...sorry!

Still chilly and will be cool for next week.

Where has May gone is right!  Remember growing up how often we would hear...the older you get, the faster time goes...SO TRUE!  And, it is picking up speed!  🥴 

I do look forward to the Memorial Day Concert too, kittyfan.  Yes, get the box of Kleenex ready....always a tear jerker. 😢 

It would be a wonderful surprise if cookie joined us again, Tootie. Gone about 10 months now...😔.  I miss her too.  She was part of our core group here....longtime friend.  

No news in my world....might go to store today...guess I'll see how the spirit moves me...ha!  Hope you have a good day.  See you later.
