kittyfan, how nice you got a new door and a new chef.  Sounds like things are improving!  Hope he lives up to his past history of upscale places.  Nice to have fish that isn't always fried.  BTW, Zucchini Boats are really good and you can put anything you like in them.  zucchini Bread is delicious too! 

Tootie - you are so organized and I'll be your pantry is looking good.  Does yours go back to disorganized after retrieving things from it?  Ours sure does!   Looks great when straightened out and neat.  The kids will sure have a great time - so much to see and do.  Here's to good results on your blood tests  

walker, are you speaking of the Disney in Florida or California?  I have never been to the one in Florida and have no intentions or a desire to visit there or California.  Been there done that too many times when younger.  Way too old and too expenive now.  Hope you enjoy the visit.

We'll have a mild 43 degree day and the days/temps should start getting warmer and warmer into next week ... walker, you may be right about sitting on the patio ... 62ish on Wednesday/Thursday ... not really warm,warm but if the sun is out it makes it feel a whole lot warmer 😁

Happy Saturday!  Quick note this morning as we are meeting friends out for breakfast.  The guys get free breakfast as Veterans and gals get breakfast out too. 👍

Yesterday DH went to a special program put on at our local high school for the Veterans.  They give a breakfast, etc, and then parade through the school as students clap, wave flags, etc.   DH has gone before but this year was special because our GS was there so he saw him.

Back later......hungry....ready for good breakfast...if no quiche on menu....eggs benedict..😋.

D ..... Doughnuts or Donuts?  Either way....GOOD!

Hello again.....busy morning but fun and delicious!  No quiche on menu but I had another favorite...Eggs Benedict! Good time.....nice sunny day....came home and took my walk.  Then did a few preps for tomorrow and now UB time!

OK...catching up if brain can remember what I read earlier...haha.  kittyfan, your new chef isn't named Eddie is he? 😂 Sorry...couldn't resist....seriously, hope you are in for some good meals now!  I like zucchini anything...never had Zucchini Boats but have heard of them.  

cookie, I was referring to Disney World in Florida (I think that is where LG and LS are going with parents?).  Closer anyway.  I have been to Disneyland too but YEARS ago...before Disney World was built.  

Comments about pantries so true....nice and neat doesn't last for long!  Ha!  Tootie, I am a Lock 'n Lock nut....have way too much but use it all....my favorite containers!  But, running out of places to put it all...crazy!

LG and LS are heading out this afternoon to Disney in Florida ... we saw them yesterday and they are soooo excited to go ... I can't wait to see pictures of their fun!!

We'll have a mild 46 degree day with sun ... weather will be getting warmer every day (I may have already reported that about our weather in an earlier post ... I can't remember 🤔 and I may be repeating myself .. 😊)

Hello friends ... just had to share ... better DS/DIL than me!

We drove them to the airport ... LG is going through this phase of wanting to be first all the time ... well, combine that with the hundreds of other people trying to get through the doors of the airport ... MELTDOWN!!

And LS did not want to let go of Grandpa's hand and we had a second MELTDOWN and a throw down onto the floor 😲

Hahahaha ... just texted with DS and he said they both calmed down and were fine ...

Hi there.....just about ready but need to sit and think about juggling things for oven, timing, etc.  

Tootie, I am laughing as I picture the airport scene!  Our laughs at expense of the parents....😂....so typical.  Glad they settled down.  Hope they like their airplane flight.
