Good morning friends .... whew cookie!! I got a pass from the Spelling Police .. hahaha!! ... I'm sure your Thanksgiving plans will come together ... like you said, you have a week yet.

walker, what a busy schedule, but it will be well worth it ... enjoy your time with your family!! ... we're going to DS/DIL for the day ... DD/SO will join us as well. We start out with a quick breakfast then prep the turkey ... relish tray/cheese crackers come out around noon as we busy ourselves in the kitchen ... of course, we'll have playtime in between with LG/LS ... and then it's Turkey Time!!

kittyfan, yum! Pecan Pie is one of my favorites .. DS puts chocolate chips in his 😋 ... enjoy your game day!

We're at 51 rainy degrees now and our temps are expected to drop throughout the day ... apparently, there is a snow storm brewing for next week (I guess it can put a damper on travel) ... I'm glad we don't have to go to far.

kittyfan, I would go anywhere for pecan pie....a favorite! Have an extra slice for me...Tootie too.  Enjoy the game day...sounds like fun.

Pecan pie was from Berdolls. I know they do mail order. They are local company

Dominos was fun. In spite of two chatty Kathy's. Finally one left. We had a lot if fun. My contribution is dessert.

Much cooler today. They are predicting a soggy holiday.

Right behind you tonight, Tootie.  I think I am ready for this week anyway....haha.  Next week, back to store for few more days of meals.  I am tired...hope I sleep well tonight.  It will be busy for a week.....then hibernation for winter...ha!  DH will pick them up at airport while I finish a few things here.  I have a couple of things to fix for dinner.  Que sera...sera!    Let fun begin!  

Ok...tried to post and had problem...BUMPED with kittyfan again...ha!  Glad games were fun....always a Chatty Cathy or two in mix.  You just have to laugh, eh?

Thank you kittyfan for the info on your pie and prepping the coffee - you are always so thoughtful ☺🌺  Sounds like fun at the games even with 2 Chatty Cathy's.  

walker, you are going to be one tired Royal Lady!! 🥱 Best start looking for a cave 😂😁  Lucky your DH is so helpful.  In any case, the get-together with family is worth it.

DD and I finally decided tto do something with Thanksgiving dinner.  Her MIL finally called and was planning a dinner but was vague about timing.  We want to see them, but the drive is an 1 -1/2 hours each way.  She is planning to have it at the ranch which right now has very little space for everyone.  So we decided to have a dinner here for the kids and us a week later, since they all had plans (DD is not good at planning ahead)  I'm still up for Tacos, but was elected to make sweet potato casserole and stuffing.  We'll see how things work out.

DIL is back to working every other weekend, so DS is bringing the kids over tomorrow ... along with our playtime, we're going to finalize plans for Thanksgiving ...

Happy Friday!  Up early like a kid on Christmas...ha!  I did sleep well....a good thing!  Busy days ahead but fun.  I'll check in when I can .....I will try to get UBs.  Actually, with DIL's family in town also, they will be gone some of the time so I can get those important UBs!  HA!  

cookie, glad you have a plan instead of wondering up to last minute.  I am too much of a planner.  Early planning or late planning, I can step into action.  I would love having your Sweet Potato Casserole.  Funny...I really like it but never grew up having it at Thanksgiving.  You could have Turkey tacos on Thanksgiving maybe? 😁

Tootie, have fun with the kiddos....gosh, LG will be two pretty soon.  Where does the time go?

Hi there......taking a UB but really need a nap...haha.  I'm tired already but next few days will be easier.  Working on dinner for tonight is a lot of fixing and coordinating.  Family is here and great to have them.   I needed a step stool for grandsons (16 & 18) to give hugs!  Yikes!  Must be Florida sunshine makes them grow taller.
