walker, smiling at your description of how to hug tall G'sons 😄 I am glad I am tall and don't have to step on a step stool (I am clumsy and would fall off😒)  Still can't get up into SIL's truck though.  That would require a ladder!!!

Tomorrow the Rolling Stones will be playing in Austin and I am not going😢😢😩.  Although I have been to many of them, I would not be able to stand throughout the whole concert, let alone walk to the staduim - no one sits! Huge crowds!  GS and GD are going and will bring back memories.😊

Today was a pretty day - 65 and sunny.  Perfect! I also heard that we may have soggy weather for Bird day kittyfan.  Hope you warm up Tootie - 44 is a little cooler than I would want for any day😄

I guess I will respond to myself.  Nothing much to say other than the weather will be warmer today - 76.  Thought of you walker when I was using the step stool in the pantry to get the coffee down from the top shelf.  Started to laugh and nearly fell backwards!  Oh well, lesson learned but still laughing.

kittyfan, if you are close to the Circuit of the Americas, stay away - major traffic since The Stones will be there and the traffic will be horrible. GS and GD are very excited and ready to go!

Happy Saturday!  Watch your step and be careful of step stools...ha!  

Breakfast done and day started....family going out to see in-laws.  Later they are going out with DIL's brother and SIL so no big dinner tonight....whew.

Family had a lot of fun together last night...always warms a mom's heart.  I know DS is really happy to see everyone.  He likes Florida but misses family times.  

Dinner was really good....plenty for all.  I fixed a new recipe...think I got it here....a Broccoli/Corn Casserole...YUM!!!  I thought I might be the be only one eating it but found other broccoli lovers and it was almost gone.  DIL and DS loved it so sharing recipe with them.

I will look it up here ...if not I can post it.

Wow...Rolling Stones in town....oh the memories.  Isn't it great that you can enjoy it through GS and GD, cookie.  Good group for old and young alike!

Tootie, have fun with LG and LS today.  Running shoes on? 😂

kittyfan, any Thanksgiving specials at Cafe?  That would be a yummy place for dinner.

Good morning. Fortunately cookie and I are miles from venue. Traffic plus!!!

I had a friend who looked into tickets. Decided not to due to cost. I didn't realize this was the venue and standing for hours!!! I have never been to venue but have seen traffic snarl. Parking must be a nightmare!!!



Walker love brocolli. Recipie sounds great. Yes family time is special for all. It is nice to have them all together.

Got up this morning intending to go yo TS. Decided to stay home. Closed next week. Will go the next week to work my area.

Cafe is closed on Thanksgkving. Will be open Friday. They have done special holidays in past. Last year they were doing Christmas carry out due to covid. Got to see some familiar faces!!

I still have plates to deliver. Just dessert plates this time.

Lazy day for me. Need to get moving. Dogs all sleeping. Holly and Jake under throws. We had a beloved rat terrier who was not a burrow dog. These two both are. I understand this is common to the breed. I will be looking for one or the other and see a lump!!

Hi friends.....day two...going well...such fun having DS around...he makes me laugh...he is so helpful.  DIL fixed lunch...nice treat.  Took it easy and watched football...later took walk with DS and DIL.  Nice to share my walk with them.  Now they are out with in-laws.  DH and I had quiet time tonight ...kind of nice...good breaks with in-laws in town.

Tootie, I bet you are tired....nice to see them come and nice to see them go..haha.

I will post that recipe soon...very simple.  I could not find recipe here so not sure where I got it.

All for now....see you all tomorrow....looks like coffee is ready to go, cookie......kittyfan must have taken care of it earlier.
