Re: Three - Hour Refrigerator Pickles

I dunno.  Three months seems wrong.  I saw a similar recipe that said three weeks.  That I can believe although I personally wouldn't go past 2 weeks.

I have been making these for years and they do last for 3 months in the fridge.  Once opened I keep them about 3 to 4 weeks in the fridge.  I thought that pickling something was a preservative but not sure.  Pickles (jarred) bought in a grocery store are dated longer then 3 months.  I like to make a batch in Sept. and then have them around Christmas time.  Makes for a nice treat.
