The old smash and peel or roll and peel methods of peeling garlic are fine for a clove or two, but if you need a lot of garlic, it's much too labor intensive, imo. But here's a quick and simple method. Who knew?

LOL! I remember seeing that somewhere on tv during the Nov-Dec holiday season. Probably on one of the food/cooking channels. Good way to vent a little frustration, too{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Yes, your post on Kitchen & Food made me want to see the demo. There were several and I liked the Martha Stewart one best. These quick tips are life savers in the kitchen. Thanks for posting it.

I take all the skin on cloves apart from the head and put them in a mason jar with lid and shake shake shake. Works the same as with two bowls.
