Leftovers don't bother me but I tend to make a full casserole dish, pot of soup, etc. and then freeze individual portions.  The only thing I don't freeze and eat for several meals is when I make beef stew.  I never freeze it because the potatoes turn to mush.  

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
