I posted about this pastry dough on the forums before. It is excellent and easy to work with.
I just whipped up two apple strudels for my husband. It only took me a few minutes to assemble and about 25 minutes to bake.
In case you are interested, I am posting again.

@rockygems123 I cut two large apples into small cubes, mixed sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and tossed with the apples.
Then I unrolled the dough. It is rolled up in parchment paper. I left the paper under the dough.
I cut slices in the dough on two long sides 1/3 of the way. Filled the center 3rd of the dough with the apple mixture. I dotted a little butter over the apples and criss crossed the dough slices from the outer sides over the center with the apples.
Then I brushed the dough with a little water and sprinkled some cinnamon and sugar on top. Baked at 425 for 25 minutes.
The filled dough was on the parchment paper it came with so it was easy to pickup and transfer to a baking sheet. I trimmed the parchment paper because it was pretty big when the strudel was assembled.
You can also just roll the apples up inthe dough if you don't want to braid it. Sometimes, I also mix milk, powdered sugar and a little butter to make a glaze and drip over the top instead of using the sugar and cinnamon topping. I have brushed on an egg wash on occasion too.
I have used different brands of store bought pastry dough and they were difficult to work with. It dried out and I had to paint butter between the sheets.
This stuff is easy to work with. It is vegan, non GMO, no bleached flour, no corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors.
I found it in the dairy case next to the boxed rolled pie crusts.

The strudels look gorgeous, @Carmie ! Thank you for posting this, and your directions for making them. I too have found over the years that the puff pastry in grocery stores is dry and hard to work with. But this brand looks great. I'm going to look for it. Thank you for posting!
