The key is to use Natural Release for any beans.
A Quick Release will force the bean liquid out of
the steam value and make a mess.
Don’t ask me how I know this!!! =:0
Really a ‘set-and-forget’ process.

I haven't yet but I just told my Husband tonight that I am going to try making it in the instant pot. Weird how that came up tonight. I think it should be great .

I put 2 cups dried, rinsed beans and 4 1/2 cups water in the Instant Pot. Cook it on high pressure for 50-60 minutes. Let it cool down naturally for 30 minutes. Voila! Very tasty cooked beans.
