On her blog she wrote she is writing a new cookbook and it will be out Oct, 2019. I like her cookbooks, the step by step instructions and pictures. I read her 1st cookbook so much it has fallen apart. I have all her others and I really enjoy using them.

I've learned a lot just from watching her on TV.

Wish I could learn how to use a cast iron skillet and not have one splash or spatter go anywhere!

I used mine the other night, it was all over my shirt and I had to wipe the whole stove down, the back splash, countertop, floor and tea kettle.

Oh it does splatter on her, she has said that on her show, we just cant see it on the TV.

I enjoy watching her program. She makes everything look so easy. Also enjoy the 'what is going on at the ranch' segment.

What a mess for you to clean up!! It looks so tempting to try and cook like that, but no way for me. I have a grill that goes in the middle of my beautiful gas stove but have never used it for those same reasons. We need to remember she can toss the shirts or send them to the cleaners, she also has someone to clean up her messes. Easy to cook that way!

@gmkb The ranch life interests me. They all work long, hard days. Did you know Ladd's family is the third largest private landowner in the United States?
