1 package fresh cranberries
sugar
water
pinch of salt
2T fresh lemon juice
zest from lemon
cook cranberries as directed on package. add water and sugar as directed. when cranberries are done , add salt, lemn juice and zest. mix well. use as desired.
i got this reipe from my dentist and it is wonderful. the lemn gives it a really fresh and bright taste

Edited: Maybe the sugar/water amounts are listed on the package of cranberries - that just occured to me.

I have a similar recipe, use orange and zest also walnuts. Delicious.

they are listed on the package, but i find that folks like to make as sweet or as thick as they like.

This is my favorite!
I add to soy yogurt or on rice.

Not really a huge fan of cranberry sauce, especially the canned stuff-- but did make one that had dried cherries in it and it was spectacular!!! oooh over yogurt would be excellent--
