Hello Forum Foodies! In the Kitchen with Moderators

[ Edited ]

Hello Forum Foodies!

We love “moderating” the recipes you share here in the forum. Smiley Very Happy We have so many talented chefs and bakers in this forum group.  Frequently, you share recipes that we just HAVE to try for ourselves.  We thought it would be fun to show you what @Beth-QVC@Paulette-QVC and @Susan-QVC have been up to in the kitchen after being inspired by some of the recipes posted in the forum.

This entrée recipe for Bruschetta Chicken over Tortellini caught Beth’s eye.  Beth added her own personal touch to @IamMrsG's recipe, and at her family’s request, substituted shrimp for the chicken. What a great spin on this tasty dish! Her family LOVED it!  If this sounds like a meal your family would enjoy, you can find the recipe here:  Bruschetta Chicken over Tortellini

Paulette is a busy lady and a major chocolate chip cookie fan. This Dark Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie served up warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was fast, easy and delicious!  It was the perfect dessert on family movie night.  You can find @house_cat’s recipe right here if you are looking for a cozy dessert on a crisp autumn evening:   Dark Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie

Check out Susan’s Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie!  This recipe was shared in the forum by @Honeybit.  Susan managed to wrestle this pie away from her husband so she could share it with her very appreciative coworkers.  It was a big hit here at the office!  Seriously, I’m still thinking about this pie.  If anyone is interested in making this pie for me, you can find the recipe posted in this thread.   Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

What a great topic.  I remember the first recipe I copied when I rejoined the Recipe Swap.  It was posted by Carol1229 in 9/10.  She shared terrific recipes and shared them often.  However Carol has been MIA at this site for several years.  I tried to copy her recipe here but cannot.  However, my first recipe from Recipe Swap was Carol's White Chocolate Popcorn, and I still make it often.

Wow

You all chose well...they look great

Now I am really hungry.

Can you get us some better emoties?

 These are really bad.

Maybe a smiley face with a chef's hat.

Thank you. I enjoyed your post.  Moderator is welcome here, as we rarely have controversy or "drama" on the cooking forum.

Re: Hello Forum Foodies! In the Kitchen with Moderators

Someone posted a recipe for Huli Huli chicken earlier this year, but I can't find it now. I think it was lost in the void of threads that didn't transfer over. I found the same recipe on another site and printed it, so I'll see if I can find that and post it here. I will have to check my recipe at home to make sure I have the right one before I post.
