2 1/2 C flour

1C sugar

1C chopped pecans/walnuts

1C (2 sticks) butter - softened (not melted)

1 egg

10ozs preserves - apricot, pineapple, raspberry.

Mix all but preserves on Low til crumbly

Set aside 1 1/2C and press rest into bottom of a greased 7X11" dish.

Spread preserves to within 1/2" of edges

Sprinkle reserved crumbles evenly over top.

Bake in preheated 350 X 40 to 50 minutes = light brown.

Cool completely in dish on rack.

Cut into desired size/number of bars.

Will keep long time if tightly covered.
