Hi Swappers,

I just saw this cute idea on the Land O Lakes site and had to try to copy and share the idea. They gave a recipe for brownies but I don't see why a box mix couldn't be used.

Brownie Holi-Pops
After the brownies have cooled completely after baking, melt 1/4 cup butter and 1 oz. of unsweetened baking chocolate. Finely crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl. (You can use a food processor to crumble finely). Add butter/ chocolate mixture and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Mix well.
Shape mixture into 1" balls using your hands. Place onto waxed paper lined jelly roll pan. Cover with plastic food wrap. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours or overnight.

Melt almond bark according to package directions. Keep warm.
Remove 1/3 of the balls from the refrigerator.
Insert lollipop sticks. Dip balls into melted coating, swirling and tapping off excess.
Press coated balls into a bowl containing desired decorations.
Push lollipop sticks into a green craft foam, which has been secured in a small pot or bowl. Or place coated balls onto waxed paper.
Repeat with the remaining balls.
Let stand until coating is set.
Cover the green craft foam with tinsel, as shown, or some other material that matches the colors of the event.
Isn't that a cute presentation? Get the kids to help and have some fun together.
Merry Christmas! Susan
