Don't know if this is the right place for this post, but here goes.

If any of you are interested in the "Colossal Cookies Cookbook" by

Wendy Kou, she was on with David a couple weeks ago, Amazon has her cookbook for $11.31 with a coupon offering of 10% off and free S&H.  I finally caved and purchased it after "thinking" about it.  It's quite a savings worth passing on to those who may be "thinking" about it, also.  It scheduled for release Dec 11.

Does it contain old fashion basic cookies and not weird stuff like they have today ?

@SharkE  I really don't know what recipes are in the book, but for $11, I ordered it.  She has a web site www.wendykou.com -- think that's it.  You can read & see the kinds of recipes she makes.

Thanks @coffee drinker  for sharing. Sometimes I will make cookies for my nieces and nephews so I reserved my copy and used the coupon.

@GAQShopr53  Like you, I'll try these on our nephew's-- no niece's.   I hope you got the same price as I did.  When I checked the book last night, the price increased by about $1 and no coupon was offered.  Can't understand Amazon's pricing, but happy I got the low, low price.

You can use cumin substitute for better recipe!

@coffee drinker I did get the lower price of $10 but there was a note that said if the price decreased before shipping I would be charged the lower amount. Thinking this is why Amazon offered the 10% coupon to cover any price adjustments.
