Wow, I got more responses on my mis-spelling of chili than actual recipes!  lol

ONLY ONCE did I microwave a hot dog.   It exploded and flew out the oven door...across the kitchen floor.

Kitty was instantly right on the spot...and wouldn't give the thing up, either...

So.

Here's my idea.

What about putting sweet chili sauce on a hot dog?

Chili dog, but without the beef chili.  lol

Then I was thinking how much I like spring rolls and thought maybe it would be fun to wrap a hot dog in the type of wrap those are made in and dip it in chili sauce.

Brown 1 lb. lean ground beef

Diced onion to taste I use about 1/2 cup

2 T. yellow mustard

2 T. Worchestershire

2 T. brown sugar

1 T. chili powder

8 oz. tomato sauce

Cook all together for about 15 minutes on simmer.

Spoon over hot dogs that have been browned in a skillet.

Top with shredded cheese, and sweet pickle relish.

Extra onions if desired

Do you mean Chili as in the meat or Chile as in the country?

Chili is a meat?  I thought it was a hot pepper!
