Can anyone help with me with a measurement?

I need 9 0z. of cool whip from a 12 oz. tub. What the easiest way to accomplish this.

TIA

Exactly! It might be easier to remove just one and use the rest in your recipe. A small amount more or less shouldn't make much difference.

Simple solution above. ...

Or, use a measuring cup that shows ounces.

I simply had a mental block as the container was 12 oz. and it said about 5 1/2 cups.

More than likely it was my age catching up with me.

If a family member had asked me this question and I gave them your answer they would have called me a ""smart a**"" LOL

Its 3/4 of the container.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

That's what I always do with ounces.

Re: Can anyone help with me with a measurement?

It is neat to see how others think. I knew I would learn something when I saw this tnread. There is always someone out there that solves problems in a simple (practical) way better than I do. I can get caught up in calculations when something else works just as good or better. I like threads like this whether it is about a receipe or cosmetics or skin care or well any way we can share information. Some threads end up being like arguing............
