Having been raised on chicken soup. I can say there's no such thing as an authentic one. Depending where your family roots were in Eastern Europe. I don't put dill in mine. I use leek instead of onion.

@spumoni99  I agree with @Janey2 . Matzo balls don't really taste like anything until you put them in a broth. I make sure to put salt and pepper in the matzo mixture, so at least it's flavored in that way. I guess I would compare it to unsalted saltine crackers.

I made the matzo ball soup!  It is delicious!  I think the egg noodles would be good too!  Yummmy...thank you @PA Mom-mom for the wonderful recipe!matzoballsoup.jpg
