Re: UPS Customer Access Points!

@Brooklynny, I added the words (Side Door) to follow my last name on my ship-to address. Has worked great so far.
Before I made this change packages were left where I might not see them at all due to shrubbery, but others walking or driving past could easily see them.

@Nightowlz If you know your UPS Driver he/She will leave your package with a neighbor or at your back door like my UPS person does..However,if it's a replacement worker they will leave a note and take your package to a designated store and e-mail to tell you when the package will be available for pick-up.. Theey will not attempt to deliver to you again..they have changed their POLICY about that and you are not an exception,I believe no matter how much you complain.

@Alexa6352 I don't care if they changed their policy or not. I paid to have it delivered to my house. If they choose to deliver it some place else I'm not picking it up. I will just have to contact the place I ordered from & tell them I never received it & to issue me credit.

Re: UPS Customer Access Points!

Some time ago, after getting pickup notices on several occasions, I called UPS and asked them to please leave an expected package on my front doorstep.  They told me it was up to the driver whether or not to leave it there.  I asked them, "Doesn't the driver work for UPS and can't someone instruct him accordingly?"  The answer was no, it was the driver's decision whether or not to leave the package.

So two weeks ago I got a UPS notice to pick up a package at the UPS Store in my town; I had to look up on UPS's website to see if the package was there yet and show up with photo ID. Well, last week I ordered the exact same merchandise from the same company, and this time it was left on my doorstep.  I think it really does depend on the driver on that particular delivery day.

Re: UPS Customer Access Points!

Thank you for the insight moonlady.  I'm hoping it was just a sub driver for that day.
