Thank you to the moderators.

I've noticed that there's much more communication from the moderators. Saying why a post was deleted, helping people when they're having trouble with their shopping orders, answering questions, ect. So, thank you very much. It makes the forum more enjoyable. Smiley Happy

I also agree... but don't be surprised if we all get chastised for "trying to gain favor" with the moderators! facepalm smiley

There's more moderation but it is wildly uneven imo.

Re: Thank you to the moderators.

I've also noticed in at least a couple of instances that posters have been "too familiar" with moderators and moderators "too familiar" with posters.  I think there should be more respect and professionalism on all accounts.

"Trying to gain favor?"  For what purpose?  What is this...nursery school?

Those are good questions, and I don't have an answer.  Except, yes, I think there are a few posters here who belong in nursery school.   I just know the kinds of comments I've seen from some posters whenever anyone compliments a moderator, thanks them, or has any other "nice" communication with them.  It seems that if we challenge them, criticize them, etc., that's okay.  But anything else means we're trying to get "in good" with them so we won't have our posts or threads taken down, and it won't be fair, and others will have their threads poofed when they shouldn't, but "we-the favored ones", will get to keep our threads and posts even when they don't meet the standards.... and on and on....

I'm just repeating some of the comments that have been made, so don't shoot the messenger.

Re: Thank you to the moderators.

I do see unevenness and inconsistency.  I was poofed twice.  I believe they should have also removed the post I was responding to to be fair but that didn't happen.  So the extreme views on both sides were allowed to remain.  Ultimately the thread was removed.

How silly.  So it makes one "on the take" to say something nice???
