I do not like Synchrony Bank at all and refuse to get a Q Card because its with them. Do you have a Visa or any other credit card you can use for QVC purchases? You do not need a Q card to purchase from them. I would pay Synchrony what you owe them and get rid of that card and use a different credit card for your purchases.
No need for customer service to send an email. You can get a QR code right from your Order Status when starting a return, if you choose.

Your credit card company must mail or deliver your credit card bill at least 21 days before your payment is due.

I paid off my QVC/Synchrony account and don't plan to use that card again. I'd be happy if they cancelled it. Instead they keep sending me emails about using the card and how much credit I can use. If I want to buy something from QVC I use my cash back credit card and pay it off every week.

Just a fact here. Beginning 2008 when the housing crisis exploded 25 very large banks went down including one of the biggest "Washington Mutual" in 08
Over the next 3 years right here in the United States after 2008 400 banks failed and closed their doors.
I can only imagine about the rest of the world. One of the oldest biggest banks "The Royal Bank of Scotland" had to be purchased by the government or it would have gone down. I think they are still owned by the UK government. I know as I was an investor. Yes, they were thinking about you and I. The list goes on and on around the world. A shocker for sure.
And it will one day happen again in the name of greed. Just keep your money there but no more than the FDIC allows which is $250,000 per name.
As far as Synchrony that's your choice. I had alot of Capital One store cards and they shut me down. There you go, I can't stand them. LOL. I'm sick of those store cards anyway.

I prefer to pull up the code from my email when I am at ups. Fastest way for me.

They absolutely will do it. I got a couple of pre approved offers from Bank of America and American Express so applied just because I retired and planned to do some traveling. I just wanted them in case I needed them for anything unexpected. Or an emergency situation. I never needed to use them and both got canceled. The explanation was if I wasn't purchasing anything with the cards then they WEREN'T making any money off of me through the high interest rates. So yes they punish you for not using them! I thought it was ridiculous but they did it!

Not if you transfer a balance to a credit card that offers 0% for so many months. I have a Synchrony Credit Card and never had a problem. You just go to the account and pay the minimum or the balance. They even notify you when your payment is coming due.

Because, I didn't want to send a check through the mail.
I wasn't using a credit card, it was a debit card. What you believe as not being difficult doesn't mean anything, it was difficult dealing with them to me.
@Alsace Gal I don't understand why anyone would want to pay off a deceased person's debt. And you are mad at the bank for not letting you pay on the deceased person's account??? Makes no sense.

Because the deceased person was my dear twin sister, she never had a debt unpaid. It doesn't need to make sense to you.
