Re: Shipping Issues...already?

@Kachina624  Yes, I am totally serious.  I just placed an order today with Amazon that will be delivered on Wednesday.  Not all items are delivered same day--just depends on what you are ordering.  Part of my order would have been delivered tomorrow morning by 8am but I opted for Wednesday so I would get the whole order at the same time.

Perhaps you are not a prime member.

Even 3-4 days is faster than QVC at least in my experience. It always takes a week or more for me to receive my orders.

Unfair advantage or not--shipments arrive quickly which IS an advantage to most consumers.

Re: Shipping Issues...already?

I needed a new Fit Bit. I decided to buy from Amazon because it will be here tomorrow. Q lost my sale because I didn’t want to wait weeks.

If I don’t need something fast, I will buy from the Q. Otherwise, I opt for Amazon.

Re: Shipping Issues...already?

I'm also a Prime member who doesn't receive promised next day, or two day  delivery. I do get several emails telling me about delays, then another telling me additional delays. I'm lucky if things come in three or four days. Just like non-Prime members. Is it because of the items ordered? Is it the delivery route? Who knows. Prime is not all things to all people.

My QVC orders seem to be delivered within the week.

I pay no attention to the QVC emails about delivery dates. Often I've been told an item will be delivered tomorrow when I've received it the day before. Or I'm told it's been delivered but I know the truck never came up my street. I always wait a couple of days and see if it's arrived. I think it depends on the drivers, both UPS and USPS. What they scan, and when they deliver is not necessarily in sync.

I've often wished QVC would take lessons from Amazon on shipping.  Geez, you can sometimes get your stuff in a matter of hours!

@SaveTheTurtles

QVC doesn't have fulfillment centers located throughout the country to handle same day shipping.

Plus there's room for only one Jeff Bezos most likely.

Re: Shipping Issues...already?

I'm a Prime member and my orders generally take a few days, but I have no complaints about that.  Much of it, I'm sure, depends on where you live.  (No "next day delivery" in my rural area.)

As for QVC, everything I've ordered since the beginning of this month (and before) has been delivered in just over a week.  I took advantage of the free shipping days, so no complaints there either.

I only have one outstanding order from QVC, ordered on the 12th and due to be delivered tomorrow.  24-hour delay courtesy of UPS handover to the local post office!  Makes me shake my head every time - 3 miles away; UPS goes by my house and hands the package to the post office.  Their system I guess.  Woman Frustrated

The only items at QVC that take long for me are Lug & Spenco

Re: Shipping Issues...already?

@QVC101

But that is not what happened?

QVC customer service said it will be delivered on the 21st or 22nd, but UPS is showing it delivered on 11-17?

So, why did the UPS guy take a picture of it sitting on a cart in the office? It wasn't?

Looks to me like the UPS guy got overwhelmed and just...what... made up a story?

How can I go down to the office and find the package when it's not even there? Is this a CYA by UPS?
