I have 3 orders of clothing to return and emailed the Social team to ask if you can return multiple orders in one box using one Q return label. In the past, I have seen posts saying this was acceptable, and I guess that's not the case any longer. I just thought I would pass this along in case anyone else was wondering.
In response to my inquiry, I received the following:
"We strongly discourage customers from returning multiple orders together in one box. For fastest processing, we encourage customers to return the items separately using a label or QR code for each item or order.

I'm confused, you say it is now acceptable yet the quote you provided says it is not. Am I reading this wrong?

@sunsetbeach Thanks for the info.
Yesterday I returned 2 pair of D&C pants - same pants in different colors - in the same package. Both had a different Order # even tho I ordered them at the same time. AND they both came to me in the same package.
Seems like the Q should practice what they preach and send items with different order numbers separately to us.
I have nothing to return presently, but I will continue to do as I have and use one box or package if possible saving return postage. Wayne said they strongly discourage, but dd not say forbid. So if returning 3 orders in the same box would save 13.90 in postage.

@sunsetbeach I did a chat just the other week about returns from different orders being sent in the same box. None of the orders came with a label some without the paperwork. Anyway, I was told if I printed out a label for one order I could use it to send all of the items back. They ended up emailing me a label because one had to be shipped UPS for some reason, so they all went back UPS. And no problem with the returns.

No, I'm not saying it is now acceptable, I said I read previous posts saying so, but the impression I got from Wayne, was that they discourage it.

I agree with you. I think that if they send 2 different orders in 1 package, you can return both using one return label. So, what you did was perfectly correct.

Maybe it depends on who you ask if it can be done. It certainly seems that way to me.

They may be discouraging it because they make more profit on returns if sent separately.

I strongly discourage myself from buying anything from a retailer who would make me return everything I bought in separate packages.
I strongly encourage myself to buy from a retailer who happily lets me drop off a return with NO packaging and NO label at a location about 1 1/2 miles from my house. I walk in, get my e-mail scanned, hand it to them and walk out.

I have, in the past, sent back multiple items in one box to save on postage. I print my own return address label, it is much, much cheaper than the $6.95 for each item. I did use the pre-printed label once for multiple items, and ended up being charged the return postage for each item in the box. I no longer do that. Keep in mind, sending multiples with your own label can take a few weeks, as opposed to a quicker refund using the pre-paid postage label. Still worth the wait for me, less shipping costs.
