Back in the 1990's when QVC had celebrations of certain countries on specific days they once had a Bastille Day on July 14. I remember that they sold all French products that day, like TeFal, Yves Rocher, and a high quality bed linen brand. I can't remember the name of the linens but Kathy Levine presented them and made big deal about the luxury quality of the linens.  

I still have a couple of quilts that I bought from QVC and a really cute quilted throw that they called Ants at the Picnic. Around the edge of the throw are large ants carrying off pieces of fruit and cheese. 

I would love to see quilts brought back. I think lots of people still use them.

i dont remember QVC selling linens like tablecloths?

i have found some nice vintage ones on ebay and etsy.

new ones can be found on almost all of the major department store sites.

I also have some holiday linens from Jeffrey Banks from HSN are still as nice as when I bought them.

jeffrey banks did some wonderful pillows and bed sheets/blankets for christmas....still own and use them. a great vendor at HSN.

How funny!

I have "Ants at the Picnic" too.  Such an adorable quilt.

Years later, Dooney did a plaid handbag with ants on them and it reminded me of that quilt. 

I still have both the quilt and the handbag.  Love them!

I have the off white Battenburg Lace one that came with the napkins and really wish I had gotten the placemats at the time. I also had purchased the Christmas Tablecloth for my Mother before she passed. They use to sell a lot of linen in the pass, you see a lot of it at other stores. You hardly see any thing like that now.Young buyers are not into that.

Mary Beth use to do a lot of those shows. You know I sometime wonder why they stop offering dinnerware as well. I think it had to do with the founder of the company stepping  down and Mike George came on board. The Q has to deal with a new kind of customer. Some people don't eat at tables together, some don't entertain as well, sad but true.
