I totally relate to the Jeanne Bice story.  I am one of those 'short' but not petite body types who needs a regular rise, but a short length.

Is it really necessary to bash and attack Bettyann for asking a legitimate, sincere question in a polite way?  Does it really matter whether or not she knows if Angel's the host or vender? Do we need to make note that it's her second post and people won't like her because of what she posted? If we disagree we should go ahead and express our opinion WITHOUT bashing the poster. Agree to disagree. By the way, I seldom post. This is why. I just wish we could remember to treat each other with kindness.

Familiarity breeds contempt. I just think people get tired of seeing the same person and hearing the same old line.

I so agree with the original post.  I thought Jeanne Bice was an interesting creative vendor. This line has declined in quality. I simply turn the channel.

@haddon9

OMG....Jeanne Bice.  She was a flipping riot.  Smiley Happy

Don't know if you remember this one....I'm going back at least 5 years....Jeanne was on with Carolyn Gracie.  They were showing Halloween sweaters - and they took a phone call.  The caller started describing a sweater she had purchased a year prior or so....and she started describing the sweater....and said to Jeanne that "it had little bones on it.  They looked like little hard on's".  LOL!!!  I thought Carolyn was gonna pee her pants!  Jeanne was laughing, too, but she really kept it together well and joked about what the caller said.  I never laughed so darn hard in all my life.

It was classic Smiley Happy

@Bettyanne

As for Angel, she's an awesome, down-to-earth vendor.  You do have a mute button on your remote, correct?  Use it.  Or turn the channel.  Both are good options.

Jeanne Bice was one of a kind.  I never bought many Quacker Factory items, but would always watch the shows to watch Jeanne.  She cracked me up!  Angel was the perfect choice to continue the presentations.  She seems like a lovely person, always happy and a little bit nutty.  She describes each piece of clothing very well - colors, sizing, designs, washing instructions, everything.  Angel loves the QF clothing line and it shows!

Yes, Jeanne was short but not petite.  How many times have we heared that story.  But there are probably newbies who haven't heard it ... yet.

I am a petite and believe petites are short changed with her selling the shorts. JCPenny used to sell shorts, but petites usually have shorter rises, shorter from hip to knee and knee to ankle.

Jeanne was a short, but the line would do better with a Petite line.

I agree.  I haven't bought QF in years because all their items are huge on me.  I would buy the pants if they had petites.   I wouldn't buy the sweaters, etc. with all the sparkle and decor.  I had several when Jeanne sold them, but decided that style wasn't for me so I donated them.

Carry the short if they wish, @Daysdee, but at least give customers the option of a petite.

Anngel is hit/miss with me. There are some days I can't stand to hear her stories & see her doing kicks & that sort, then some days, she is wonderful. Angel tends to ramble at times. Maybe it's my moods,lol..  But Jeanne was the same way. Some days, I just couldn't listen to her, then days she was very entertaining & a good vendor. I do have 2-3 of Jeanne's books & enjoyed them very much
