@They CallMe MRWILKES wrote:But don't you know that Jane and Julia and Monifa caused $6.5 Billion in debt!
Laughing hysterically that some think that was the cause and problem.
I don't see where anyone including the OP stated this. I see "complaints" regarding specific hosts but I don't see where it was mentioned that the "hosts" are what "caused 6.5 billion in debt."
Maybe I missed something.

good grief, Hosts are not liable for QVC debt. Agony, and torture maybe, JK. lol. Hosts, like any employee of this, or any company should be controlled by PTB. If management, and higher ups (like CEO ). allow some behavior by Hosts to continue , can only mean a few things. One, management is poor, and can't control Hosts. If management can't control hosts I would think they don't care, or should be repremanded or let go. Two, management at QVC is not held responsible or accountable by ANY higher up. If higher ups aren't doing anything about it, they are not informed of host behavior and have no influence ....or simply don't care. Most companies have a code conduct of some sorts, and grooming requirements. Each level has someone to keep the companies values, rules, conduct in check. I can only surmise the company has let go this level management that take care of these issues, and have let hosts manage themselves. Or,...the company has been in such turmoil for a few years that they just feel they have other things more pressing. Lastly they might feel the conduct of some hosts and vendors is simply the wave of the future. And the PTB haven't seen any direct, negative results from rogue hosts, and take the slogan, "Hosts will be hosts"...they know what their doing? Just guessing.

Rosina is one of the Hosts that I will watch. For awhile they had her doing beauty shows and also with Dennis Basso but of course the loudest ones always get the prime time and the most air time,

@They CallMe MRWILKES I have a question. Since qvc is in Chapter 11..can the CEO actually collect these golden parachute perks,? Or, does he wait in line with all the creditors?

Especially when he or she is negotiating with a clueless board, board representative, corporate legal representative or all three. Over the last few decades, QVC has truly gifted its top executives very nicely, regardless of their performance. One of many reasons they are where they are.

I'll let Mr. Wilkes respond, but based on what was posted earlier, it sounds as though his money is guranteed.

There are so many things wrong and I hate to be a debbie downer but I have seen nothing change since this started. Okay maybe more coupons but that is it. I just don't see them lasting and Ipray that I am wrong.

"Cause" is defined as illegal activity, embezzlement, fraud, felony conviction, etc.
Sweet deal. ![]()

The big changes are yet to come but the possibility is they will not be the kind of changes many are hoping for. The opportunities a more competent management might have had to address customer concerns are gone. When the dust settles, it's possible, probably likely, that many won't recognize the QVC of the future. It's entirely possible that every aspect of this company will be ripped a new one.
