Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

When people invest their monies in a failed corporation, they are not going to take small steps to make success.

They're coming with a huge broom to sweep out all the

trash, with little feelings for what anybody happens to like or dislike.

I think hosts will be doing the best jobs they can and realize their jobs are on the line.

Lastly, I don't think great offers for better jobs for hosts, will be knocking at their doors.(maybe Alberti)

Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

Frankly, if they keep the same hosts, I hope their contracts are renegotiated, when they are up, to a lower salary. I know it is a tough job with changing hours. But I am sure there are competent, non annoying people who can do the job for much less than $500,000 per year. If the oldies don’t like it, they can quit.

@shopped out   Get rid of all the hosts and vendors.  Have models and voice over AI doing the descriptions.  Make it a true shopping network.

Julia has grossed me out with the long nails and long hair over the food.  Have they ever seen a chef with long nails?  Put the  hair in a poney tail. If she was in a restaurant the health department would've shut it down. Sanitation people......."

Julia is not preparing food for other people, so it’s not necessary for her to wear her hair up, put on gloves or a face mask. 🥴

And yes there are chefs with long nails. Do you know who

Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

I think it is pretty sure that when the changes begin due to the bankruptcy, QVC will not need 29 hosts, not to mention HSN hosts.

There is no way, in my opinion, there will not be a significant reduction in force in the coming months. .just wondering if a package may be offered to the older hosts .

@wakefield64 , I think the time for offering packages has passed.

I wish they would give Amy, Alberti and Jane less hours. Seems like they are there daily--remember no man is an island-share the wealth with other cohorts. Just my opinion--

Becoming the CEO of QVC was the best investment that Rawlinson ever made.
