Have you won anything when playing any of QVC's sweepstakes?  I have not.  If you have, what did you win?

Several years ago I won a tablet covered in crystals from their Red Carpet Sweepstakes.  As much as I loved the tablet it ended up costing me as I had to pay the taxes on it which were more than I would have paid if I had purchased a tablet.  Because of that experience I do not enter sweepstakes unless it is for something completly worth it and the taxes associated with it.

That's true Sparkeys Girl, I never thought about having to pay for taxes.

FYI, there is a $600 threshold for triggering tax reporting (i.e., issuance of Form 1099).  The IRS matches up everyone's W-2s and 1099s to the tax returns, and if something doesn't match it triggers correspondence from them asking for an explanation.

Many years ago when they had the lucky number game I won a $1000 credit to my account. Then when they had the Insider Seeepstakes, I won a Michael Dawkins necklace, large cuff bracelet and earring set. Both times I had to report as income to IRS. Since then, I don't enter any sweepstakes or contests.
