I always print out the Q program guide and circle the programs I want to review.  On Wed, June 7, Polish Stoneware is listed at 10 AM.  I know these programs sometimes change, but will be interesting to see if it actually shows.

I'll bet this will be a different brand than they used to have.  I would think it would be less expensive and not as nice.

I own one piece of Polish Stoneware that I purchased from the Q probably 10 years ago. A large rectangular baker. The Quality is Superb!  It is BEAUTIFUL!  A work-of-art!

@NickNack it is from different factory and different artists but same quality and only less expensive because it is not signature prices. I have a very large collection, including prices from several different factories of the region. Evine has polish stoneware also, but not the signature line.

NickNack, I was thinking/wondering the same thing!

I just looked at what qvc has in Stock, it's real polish stoneware, it is UNICAT, that is what Gloria sold on qvc in the past. Now is Lydias.

@Nomorebirthdays  Unicat just means "unique."  It's not a brand.  The brand that Gloria sold was Ceramika Artystyczna.  I have quite a few pieces.

I spent years collecting Gloria's Polish Stoneware, I absolutely LOVE it and continued to buy on line when she left QVC.  Now she's retired and her website is no longer there....  I planned on a dinner set for 12, but got to 10 and am happy.  The Polish Stoneware being sold right now on the Q is called Lidia's.  I couldn't resist the chicken on the nest.... (I adore roosters and chickens) and I'm very happy with it, looks great but it is not as detailed as Gloria's.

Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and I love it and will probably get some additional coffee mugs and the salt & pepper shakers but there is a "depth" missing from the decor, a sort of subtle "flatness" that is not missing from the pieces in my Gloria collection and I've been collecting Gloria's pieces since before she added color to them!  Even the blue items have a depth to the decor that is stunning.....

While they may be from the same factory, I believe it is the difference in the artists used....

@Q4u  I don't believe they are from the same factory.  It looks to me like Lidia's polish stoneware is from the Kalich factory or maybe Bolshe(something).  I couldn't read all of the letters in that word.  I was looking at the bottom of one of the pieces online.

Thank you, yes, that makes a huge difference, artists and factories are different.....
