I'm frustrated, too. The prices on their what I consider "basics", like Denim and Co and Susan Graver, are just too high now. I can go to a large store that starts with a K and rhymes with "coals", for example, and get very similar clothing for half the price.
I'm also frustrated with all the changes to the website. While I don't mind change, I just don't like their changes here. The new website isn't appealing to me. The homepage consists mostly of little tiny pictures of recently aired items, spread horizontally across the page, and the navigation is lost in the pictures of the items they want you to B U Y !!!

I was here when it was CVN - even back then it was more professional than today. They got my attention back then, and in the first years of QVC, by telling me all about a product, giving all the details , and doing it in a calm, professional manner. It was about the sales - not the performance. They lost me in the performance - the silliness, the childish behavior, the ego trips. The dancing, the singing, the goofy faces and jabberwocky talking over each other.
I did buy several things during the holidays because DH has been ill and in order not to leave him alone I bought on line. But he's a little better now, I need very little, and the B&M stores are only five short minutes away. So I am sure I'll continue to come here - to find new friends and new ideas. And I will listen to your thinking on products from QVC and other vendors. But I won't be buying very much in the future. I'll be happy, dancing out to the mall, where the prices are loweer and the sales people don't wiggle or hip bump.

And when did zip up hooded sweatshirts come to be $55 and up? Linea has one on today for $55, yesterday a tsv no less at $60. When I put on a sweatshirt, it means I'm working around the house and/or in the garden working hard and probably getting dirty. I'm surely NOT putting on a $55-$60 + cutsie designer one!!!!!
Yesterday while perusing evine they had 'kate & mallory' line on, saw some really cute items. I pulled up evine to check out all they have in this brand. I laughed at loud at the styles because 95% were exactly the same as Graver, logo, linea, d&co except the prices on evine were 1/3 of what they sell the same for here. It was so unbelieveable.
No I don't buy here anymore either. I can find better for less in B&M and on other sites. It's so ridiculous to spend so much money here.

I so agree with the fashion. I was looking for a cardigan and could not find any that I like. I hate hoodies too. Some of their fashion is just not right for me because I am on the heavy side. I like longer tops and hate those weird hemlines on some of them.

I have tried some of their beauty products and still go back to boots products for my skin. I also use Skinn for my neck and still save alot of money. Boots serum for under 30.00 and Skinn neck cream for 38.00 and I am 61 years old with great skin using them.

I hate the new homepage. I still have to look more than once to find anything on it.

I have been doing more shopping at evine too. When they first started as shopnbc they were too expensive, but in the last few years their prices have come down and I have bought several things from them.

They made a big mistake starting with the GILI products in particular - that started with Lisa Robertson who was a part of that team....I would never buy a $200+ handbag or any of those leather dresses ????....I think the reason they are on so often is that they cannot get rid of them!....ORyAny is another- wish they would not waste 3 hour blocks on very expensive bags....the prices on some of the clothing have also gone way up - I took a good look at an designer tee shirt being presented and it's EXACTLY like several I've purchased at K Mart for 1/3 the price - I am limiting the number of purchases at QVC for clothing and shoes to very few

I think QVC is trying to stay at a certain price level on some merchandise, but are still very competitive on other products. A storefront probably carries more of a variety in pricing. I still manage to purchase from QVC when they offer the best deal. I purchase the majority of clothing and accessories elsewhere. If it's seasonal, I definitely go to a storefront where the prices are at a drastically lower price. For example, I own that D&B hobo bag they show on QVC all the time as their best seller. I got it elsewhere a couple of years ago and paid exactly half of that price. My first D&B, and maybe my last because this bag shows absolutely no wear and I carry it exclusively. Sorry, just had to share that. LOL
