Re: Please Quit With the Side Pockets

All the pants I own have pockets. As long as they are not bulky then it works for me.

@Jacie  the QVC vendors are appealing to their base who by the way QVC touts it & based on sales, for the most part prefer pockets. If those garments weren't selling well, they'd stop making them. All about sales it is.

@nycalady I am picturing a lot of elderly women with runny noses! Maybe it would help if hosts would quit saying "there is a pocket for your tissue!" LOL!

Re: Please Quit With the Side Pockets

This isn't exactly following this thread but, when someone mentioned shirt pockets on the chest, it reminded me of my father. He had to have two shirt pockets on any shirt he'd wear. I'm guessing way back then, it was pretty standard to have them. I remember shopping with my mother for them and, while not every one had them, there were many to choose from that did. I'm not even sure what he ever put in them or if he ever used them--maybe for his reading glasses--but he wouldn't wear a shirt without them. Sweet memories.

Re: Please Quit With the Side Pockets

You are entitled to have an opinion, but not everyone including me, agree. I do need a place for tissues due to allergies and a place for my phone. PS yes my hands get cold too, so especially on a fleece or sweatshirt I like a place for them to warm up.
