Where is a host being "stalked"?

I missed those posts.

I've never thought that about any posters who ask about a host being gone & why they haven't been on. No, we're NOT stalkers! I've asked about my fave hosts when they've been off air for awhile and I assure you I don't stalk them and not really in "a panic" as some like to over dramatize. It's a simple question on a Q message board where Q hosts are frequent topics here. And as others have said, don't know why it should bother some so much if a poster simply asks about a host not being on.

Absolutely, @Effie54 , and that is exactly why this board is almost dead. There are "Board Controllers" who thinks they've been appointed to decide what is appropriate or inappropriate to be posted.

Almost immediately Board Controllers ring the bell on a new post as to whether they think it is appropriate. Monitors are not enough, we must have "Board Controllers." They will decide if it must NOT continue. If they can't themselves stop discussion, they will quickly resort to reporting it.

Well, I'm surprised posters here do not remember when this was once an active board, now a shadow of daring posters who try to have discussions where everyone is permitted to post their opinions with the approval of Board Controllers. Should this board be closed down, we all can thank them. Why should a dead board continue....

Geeze, absolutely! It doesn't mean you're a stalker, or you don't have a life....I myself am curious when I don't see a certain host for awhile. It's just curiosity.

What's really odd (to me) is that those with full, complete, rich, rewarding, wholesome, busy, vibrant lives still can fit in the time, into those fabulously packed schedules,  to come to a rather mundane shopping forum and scold fellow posters!

How on earth do you fit it into your very full, fabulous life?

I don't understand...

if a poster is 'allowed' to ask where their fav host is....

why ISN't another poster 'allowed' to question those posts?

Shouldn't they ALL be 'allowed' to ask/write/post?

Yet a good many of you are bashing the OP and others who have different thoughts?

Seems hypocritical to me.

Then how about no one having any opinions at all?  Is that better?  Let's not opine on one side of the fence or the other, since differing opinions and opinions on the opinions are deemed hypocritical.

Really?

Post whatever you want. Respectfully take sides.  Be original.  Agree. Challenge thought.  Disagree.

Anything that obviously goes too far, by the Moderators' definition, gets poofed.  I have no problem with that either.

@Caaareful Shopper

That is not what I am saying.

Why would no opinions be better?  I'm just saying that the OP has the same right to discuss her opinions on those posts as those who want to ask them.

If posters are saying it is okay to ask those questions....then it should be just as okay to question the need for the question.  It is hypocritcal to say you can ask what ever you want....but then tell others you have no right to their posts which may be different.

You want to ask about a host?  Go ahead

You want to post why anyone would ask that?  Go ahead !

Of course a poster can post a response to the OP, but when the response is condescending and belittling to the OP and others for asking, hence, "you must have a lonely pathetic life if you care so much about a host on TV and I have a wonderful life and can't imagine caring about a tv host", yeah, people are going to call you out on it.
