Interesting. I was going to bed but checked out QVC for a couple minutes. Jane and Kourtney were presenting the stretch mat and just laying on it relaxing. Jane said, "Wow, we are so relaxed. Usually we are so wound up and annoying". Yep, that's what she said.Woman Happy

If she knows they are annoying then why do they continue with their antics. I found her comment quite interesting.

@cjm61   Jane does that quite a lot.  It's not that she thinks it's a bad thing that she & Courtney are annoying to some viewers, far from it.

It's Jane's way of thumbing her nose at those that do find them annoying.  Jane is fully aware of what's said about them on social media posts.  Does she care?  Not one bit.  Nothing has changed in their shows.

It's just like when she eluded to viewers not liking (mild phrase) her Honey!! shout at David Venable in their shows.  So of course she does it even more.

It's her way of telling viewers it is what it is, and  we're not changing!

I'm all for love, but if they didn't tell each other they loved each other twice, they said it twenty times. I am sorry, but they are over the top with each other. I find it very unprofessional and I only watched for about ten minutes.

Unprofessional, unwatchable, and unlikeable. Sad that they have made their presentations and themselves this way. I'm embarrassed for them.

"....It's her  (JT's) way of telling viewers it is what it is, and  we're not changing! "

Sadly, it's QVC telling customers that.

They must know it annoys people, but they don't care.

Or maybe people DON'T care, and sales reflect that for when she's on, so they don't react to it.

We, the commenters, are but a TINY percentage of the viewership....So what suggestions are made here, stay here.

But you do bring up a good point.

JT apparently knows there are customers who don't like the Honey stuff....how does she know?

She reads the posts about herself here, even though we're told the hosts "don't read these boards".

Right.

@Othereeeen    ....plus all the comments about it on Facebook, that ultimately get removed.

I agree one host is best. But can you imagine talking about some of these products by yourself for a hour? I'd go nuts.

They used to have a host and a vendor for years...

BUT...I agree with you about having to talk about one product for an hour...

Test for yourself....take something you bought from QVC that presumeably, you like ( you bought it) and, standing at your kitchen table, talk about it for an hour.

Or in your bedroom...pet the sheets or blanket for a hour!!!!

Use a timer....you'll be into it about 2 minutes, it'll feel like 45, and when you look at the timer and have 58 minutes left to talk about a vacuum, Mark Charles snips, a pot, a HALO...whatever......

I couldn't do it.

But they've pegged the meter in the opposite direction now.....from one host selling an item, to two or even three hosts acting like children on a sugar high.

It's becoming unwatchable with the volume on, and really, a channel changer for me.

@CalminHeart true, but maybe the hosts would have the time to explain things thoroughly if they were all alone.  There would not be two hosts interrupting one another and trying to put on a standup comedy routine.

I feel the PTB think they have to entertain us with these antics to keep us watching, but for many of us it has the opposite affect.

It is my belief that that they have too many hosts now, especially since QVC is no longer on 24 hours.  If they went back to a single host presenting, they would have too many hosts and have to let half of them go.

P.S. I have chimed in on the "one host" thing before and totally agree with the majority.  I miss the days of one host!  I also miss the days when we did not have to have a rep for every single product!

Sounds you know her personally. Well,  since you say JT is thumbing her nose at Customers , than that to me as a customer is pretty  crapy immature behavior of hers .

Does JT own the company ....  well she is turning customers away and the  recent corporate  info  did not show  very positive  sales .

@CalminHeart

If the programming was changed to  show more products rather than the same few items over and over , the hosts would not have to talk so much abt the limited items. Or if they do have a Rep or Designer the Hosts could let them talk instead of  not letting the Reps get a word in abt the products .  Seems alot of customers on these boards want intelligent conversations abt various products between the Reps and Hosts  with full demonstrations without the constant rude interruptions by various Hosts
