@LilMadi  I'm not so much irritated with Dan as I am watching Dan and Carol squeezed into a small space looking like they are making a hostage tape! For heaven's sake, get everyone back into the studio!! I'm sure it's cheaper this way, but it isn't a selling point.

Since they even eat when the camera is off of them, I really don't think it's just a sales tactic. I've never seen anyone eat as much as Dan, although I do think Alberti  might have him beat.  No host has to eat as much as they do to sell, I really think they do it for tnemselves most of the time.  Pat even just admitted (as others have) that she's touching all that food so no one but her will be able to eat it.  She also told Rachel she would talk because it was Rachel's turn to eat.  I think that was telling.

Can't take Rachel on the food shows.  Eating is one thing but the sounds are ridiculous. Just think of the movie scene with Meg Ryan. "I'll have what she's having."
