I made a post titled I thought those days were over in which I stated I was expecting to be attacked for my comments.  It was removed because she considered it to be "baiting."  Apologies, I didn't realize that.

Anyway, I'm revising it now to just say,  Oh no, Dan Wheeler.........hosting a food show for two hours right now.  Instant channel changer for me.

Has Dan returned to hosting duties or is thia a one-off?

Unfortunately, he can't stop himself.  When he was eating potstickers, he said to Carol, "keep talking so I can eat."

@LilMadi   I'm sure he's being well paid for doing these presentations but it seems like he ought to be paying them for all the food he scarfs down.

I don't know how QVC could not know how unattractive it is to watch someone eat (or drink) all they can get down while doing the presentation.  I sure don't find it "cute" or informative.  But it seems the "door has opened" once again regarding scarfing down the food they represent.  That's when I have to leave.....

Of course he can stop himself! It is a sales tactic, that as I recall, he used when he was a host.

I could never watch him when he did food shows.  He and Sharon would eat like they had never eaten before.  A real turn-off.  Liked him OK on other shows, just not on the food shows.
