Kathy is the new host who resembles Sandra.   IMO they need to work on her voice and Mary's voice.

Honestly, I don't watch enough to know who the new ones are.  I don't enjoy most of the older ones anymore either so I don't watch.  I guess they are just trying to keep their jobs and make a living.

The new hosts I have seen (mostly Mary Nelson) are very good.  Better than some former "newbies."  I agree with your statement though  .  I think Carolyn Gracie has an extremely pleasant voice as did Lisa R.  (Also, that one guy that was on for a while--mostly at night.)

She didn't dominate, she didn't  interrupt, she seemed knowledgable.

Erin is the Diamonique expert, not a vendor.   She's employed by QVC

Oh...didn't know what she was...I don't watch those particular shows.  There never was an "expert" in the past.  I just knew she wasn't a host.

@Spurt  Hi Spurt, I don't know any of the new host.  I just don't watch unless it's Home shows and usually some of the older host do those it seems.

Are you being a good girl and not buying too much?  LOL I am trying to be good but something always tempts me so much.  Not many packages coming in now.  I have a replacement for a broken Apothecary jar coming on Wednesday and a Luminara glass candle on Thursday and that's it for this week. Pretty good, huh?

When I work from home I peek in at QVC not much good TV daytime...OR in the evenings if nothing is else on I will check in to see what QVC is showing....so I dont actually watch as much as I used to.

I just haven't seen too much to tempt  me from Valerie's CIJ or Harvest Show.  And I did buy some earrings during the jewelry shows.  I think I spent the most on Harry Slatkin so I have 3 sets of the 2 wick candles coming and one winter album.  

Now I did go to Pier 1 .....I had to restrain myself they had so many nice things and they were so different than the same things Valerie seems to be showing lately..... I almost bought some harvest pillows, glitter light pumpkin garland and those woodland critters were so cute!!!!, and some other things  But I restrained myself and bought 4 of those autumn woodland animal plates that I put in the plate holder I have in my dinning room..(I got a rabbit, a fox, and 2 squirrels).....they will go nice with the fall decor stuff I will put on the table---the linen runner with pumpkins, a fall floral arrangement, and Valeries wood pumpkins and I will have to play around with displays to see what works best: if it will be my sisel squirrel, or maybe one of my Jim Shore fall harvest angels, or something else to go with the pumpkins..................

The new host Kathy P., may resemble Sandra in looks but they are vastly different in hosting. Kathy is very pleasant so far. No speed talking and actually listens to what the vendors and callers are saying. Kathy has a 12 year old sibling! She herself looks super young too. Wish Q, would hire more rugged, husky males and/or hosts who are 40+. The older ones comes maturity and we need more of that on Q it seems. 

So far, out of all the new hosts I enjoy Courtney the most. But for some reason whenever I see her, all I see is makeup. She wears a ton of it, everything looks heavily painted on. Her hosting skills though are great! Very calm, relaxed & speaks natural. Nothing forced or too giggly.
