Re: New Host Alex

[ Edited ]

I watched Alex on with Bitsy (Joan Rivers, I think; it was late) the other night.  She wasn't screeching or screaming.  So perhaps it's affected by with whom she's paired?

However, since she's clearly upset so many already, she must be soon for the chopping block.

Onto the next "new host"!  Woman Indifferent

(And maybe they deserve six-figure salaries after all, since their careers with QVC can be so short.)

I'll leave the rest of the discussion to other posters.

It may have been Alex where the vendor and host were talking over each other.  It was so awkward and the host really wouldn't let the vendor get a word in.  You need to pace yourself in these presentations.

That's why they are on probation. Do you think everyone on probation has a right to stay. After all, there are 9,995 others who would like the job. The very best should be found, extremely pleasing. It's a competitive, good-paying job and only the best should get it.

There's no need to cut off the vendor or to fast or loud talk. When you have time to talk about yourself, you surely have time for the vendor and merchandise.

Of all the people that I click off, Mally makes my hands and fingers move at lightening speed, moreso than any other vendor or host.

I won't be watching any shows with Alex Butler.  There is something about the term "wowza" that is a turnoff.  The  silly slang just is not professional and does not work for this old girl.......

@goody2shoes"

i like hervtoo.  She is down to earth - has a great sense of humor.  The criticism of the hosts in this place is beyond disgusting

@ScarletDove I agree!! I won't be watching her again. She is too loud & hyper for me.

So tired of the fast-talking, hosts being loud, and most of all the "made-up" words.  Too many are doing that now.

And not only Alex,but I saw Kathy on ITKWD she was co-hosting with Mary Beth.....and she stumbled and bumbled ---and she couldnt get the ingredients right had to backtrack and when she was supposed to demo something she said good-bye to the audience and then the producer must have corrected her and Kathy embarrasingly said "oh I thought we we're going to do something else"....and went though her demo. Sorry but these are Q proteges that have been going through months of study and practice.......Woman Frustrated

Well at least Katie McGee looks like a seasoned pro already---at least QVC found a good one there.....
