I have never and will never use easy pay. I remember years ago the first time I saw a presentation offering two easy payments. It was a real shock to me.

Funny how easy-pay is the default setting when ordering online. Those who don’t want it need to be careful, and opt-out of this when checking out.

Most months I pay my CC bill in full, but this month will be different. We had LOTS of expenses, some expected and a couple unforeseen. In any case, the only reason I got this credit card from our Credit Union is because their points system is so good. It'll take me a couple of months to catch back up to $0 balance, but I'll get there. We got into some CC trouble in the 1980s, paid it off and vowed never to let that happen again.
What I only recently realized is that my account is set to default to Easy Pay when I order from my phone. I need to change that.

That's a good one, too. I'll add that I resolve to not order anything without reading all the reviews.

Absolutely and thanks for the reminder. I used to place an order before reading the reviews, then cancel if they swayed my opinion of the item. Didn't happen frequently but it did happen.
Now my order is in process and cannot be changed or cancelled as soon as I hang up the phone. Even more irritating is that it can sit in process for days on end, or even switch to backorder status, with still no way to cancel.

Taught me to take the time to read the reviews, which I sort low to high ratings.
