I really don't understand why QVC continues to stand by Lisa Rinna. There are a plethora of other vendors that QVC has thrown under the bus, so why not Lisa Rinna as well?

Some person in power is obviously smitten.

It seems that a person's character, values, manners and respect for others doesn't mean much these days. No one is held accountable for being disrespectful.

I'm overweight and forgot about what she said the day she said it.
I'm torn on this. What she said was wrong, rude, disgusting, mean, and ridiculous. One of the last few things that it's ok to make fun of in our society is being overweight. It's wrong and hurts people.
At the same time, she didn't incite violence, bigotry, and hate like so many in the public eye these days. Where are those who are upset with Rinna when people say those things? Yes, she said something totally rude and insensitive and mean.
If we fired everyone for what they say on their own time, there wouldn't be anyone on Q. I thought Joan Rivers was much worse with what she said about others. It could also be that it has nothing to do with her contract.

I agree although I was quite vocal on these boards regarding Ms Rinna.......and her views and why would QVC allow this type of person to stay in the "QVC family of vendors" the entire thread was deleted .... all the hearts that I received were deleted
as well
QVC can sweep Ms Rinna's remarks under the carpet .....they could delete posts and hearts but the damage is done what was said is out there........... and true colors of Ms Rinna have been revealed
Ms Rinna could backtrack all she wants the remarks should never have been said......
they were hateful
and QVC well...it is a shame they edit and delet the boards for lesssor infractions you think they would delete Ms Rinna from their programing

This topic is getting old and tired. When it first happened posters ranted and raved and no action was taken by QVC. Certainly nothing is going to happen now. She sells merchandise and that is all they care about. This is beating a dead horse.

IMO, her words DID incite bigotry & hate toward people who are overweight.
