I like MaryBeth too. Also like Jill Bauer very much too. I like that they ask very straight forward questions to the vendor about the item and they explain everything clearly. I like that they aren't screechy and trying to be the cool sassy chick with the one liners and stupid Junior High antics....plus I like they speak correctly and don't use made up abbreviated words like one annoying host does all the time. She is so not cool or super "adorbs" to watch or listen to....

I agree MBR is very professional and I can watch her shows without making comments. CG is a good host too, but is very self promoting and not believable at times, I find myself making comments during her shows. Negative comments!LOL

Mary Beth is a very professional host. I think Leah and Gabrielle are very good, too. Pleasant, calm, and they talk about details of the product for sale.

I couldn't agree more!

MB is a class act, she should be training the new, younger hosts.

But QVC has chosen a different path and hosts like MB need not apply.

@software I believe she does train the new hosts.  She trained Alberti, Elise and Katie as I recall.

I believe that MBR is now in charge of the host mentoring/training program but I don't think she actually mentors anymore.  I believe the latest hosts she did mentor were Alberti, Stacy and Kerstin.

But I'm pretty sure that Jennifer Coffey was Katie's mentor and Rachel was Elise's mentor.

Things are never going to get better at QVC when you have what I consider to be newer hosts, some who still need training, mentoring the newest incoming hosts.

She does what she is expected to do in a pleasant manner. I find her sweet as apple pie and then some. Super sweet....LOL

I saw her within the last week for the first time in eons.  I usually just watch late at night.

I loved her different hair style.  Shorter with volume at the crown.

It reminded me of something Lisa Robertson said.  That was volume at the crown was an instant face lift!  I totally agree.  And with it shorter, not dragging her face down.

You can always depend on MBR giving you all the important information necessary that helps you in purchasing the product. Also, Mary Beth shines the light brightly on the product, which is her job. She's a professional and a great saleslady and host, all the while remaining pleasing, intelligent and keeps the show moving along.

Mary Beth is there to do the job she was hired to do. She's one of the workhorses of the Q & a money maker for them. She can sell EVERYTHING the Q has, the sign of a true professional. She never makes the show about herself. She does her job and goes home to family, the more important in her life. When one does a good job like she does, they don't have to be bothered reading any complaints about her. She does a good job; she knows it.

Mary Beth is a smart woman and I'm sure she makes sure she's paid well for her contributions.
