I agreed with every comment you made.  I am surprised QVC allowed Marth to "hone in" on the Luminara brand.  She must be living under a rock in Bedford, NY because as you know "she JUST discovered this NEW techology.  So funny how "wow" she is with all of it.  In my opinion, not only are these very expensive, Luminara stands on it's own and did not need the association with Martha.

I so agree with you.  I kept thinking exactly what you stated -- does she ever watch QVC?  Does she know that Luminara candles have existed for quite some time?  It just made me shake my head the way she acted like she invented this "new" technology.

It was easier to stamp her name on it, then create a whole new type of candle. They charge more for her name, and Luminara profits more.

All of these negative comments abour Martha Stewart surprise me because they apply to Rachael Ray as well, even more so in some instances.  The touching her hair all the time to move it out of her face, the lack of humility, cutting people off, stating everyone loves or will love her products, patting herself on the back etc.  YET, I don't think I've ever seen a negative comment about Rachael Ray here... or am I mistaken?

That being said, perhaps one's comments are based on who they are or are not a fan of?

I watched the show and enjoyed seeing some different things, even though they were Luminara Candles, but at least the designs were different along with different colors. I would like to see more Fall/Harvest colors. They were quite pricey as well, so I didn't purchase anything, but I thought it was a very nice show.....
